The Fourth Dimension

Hypercubes and Tesseracts

Imagine a world where you can move in a direction perpendicular to all three spatial dimensions we know. That's the fourth dimension.

What is a Tesseract?

A tesseract is to a cube what a cube is to a square. It's a four-dimensional analog of a cube.

"Time is the fourth dimension." - Common Misconception (in this context)

While time is often treated as the 4th dimension in spacetime, in geometry, we talk about a 4th spatial dimension.
